Mourners in Sheema have turned unruly and started insulting late Yesse Mubangizi’s widow, Emelda Tumuhirwe accusing her of disrespecting their matrimonial vows by giving birth to an imbecile child outside the blanket.
Tumuhirwe was on Thursday noon called to addresz mourners and give farewells to her husband, hardly had she started speaking when mourners majority the deceased relatives and friends started hurling insults at her. She attempted to calm the audience but all in vain
According to mourners, the widow is accused of mistreating the deceased and producing a child out of the wedlock.
Anonymous source close to the deceased told reports that Mubangizi gave birth to only four children and the late went for agreed vasectomy to as part of family planning
As dishonest would have it, the wife conceived for a different man prompting the deceased to seek for legal divorce
Family says that the wife continued provoking their son demanding for property and the husband offered to give her 300 million shillings as part of her share although she did not stop demanding for more.
It has been understood that Yesse died in the middle of his divorce case which was scheduled to take place on 6th July 2022
Johnson Twinomujuni, the bishop of West Ankole Anglican Diocese disclosed to mourners that the Late Mubangizi had prior to his death told him in confidence that his family was at crossroads and he had separated with his wife.
The Bishop castigated women who harass husbands well knowing that they will not speak out in order to protect their family names.
The deceased siblings said he left behind a will which theywill follow in distributing his wralth among his family members. The deceased legal team was yet to guide on handling the incomplete divorce case.
The late Yesse Mubangizi passed on Sunday 3th July after a fatl accident in Masaka accident, as he made his way from Mbarara to Kampala.
He was laid to rest today Thursday July7 at his ancestral home in Rushozi Sheema municipality Sheema district.
Yesse Mubangizi will be remembered for his greater contribution to building a strong education system in Uganda, for instance he funded Nile High School in Mukono and has been an active member of the Lions Club which extends support to vulnerable persons and students thus fostering development.
