BUSHENYI
A total of 232 graduands have graduated at Valley University of Science and Technology (VUST) in Bushenyi district on Saturday.
The graduands including 106 males and 126 females graduated in different disciplines during the university’s 4th graduation ceremony held on Saturday January 27,2024 at the main campus in Bushenyi.
Three graduands graduated with First Class degrees. They are Nabaasa Nebart (DPE) 4.65 CGPA, Niwebyoona Raphael (BAMD) 4.43 CGPA and Twamuboine Edgar (PGDML) with a CGPA of 4.57.
Prof. Emmanuel Karoro, Director of Post Graduate Studies and Research said the graduands are well equipped to contribute to national development. He urged the graduands to remain prayerful, work selflessly to satisfy society needs and reminded them to continue espousing the Valley University values.
“When you enter the world of work, do the work to number one, have integrity, remember your professional ethics and your etiquettes,” Prof. Emmanuel Karoro emphasized.
The University hailed parents, guardians and sponsors for entrusting them with students and pledged to continue providing affordable and quality education to contribute to capacity building, research and innovations in the country.
