Unknown assailants in Kajaho Kikagate Isingiro district last night attacked and chopped off the head of an adult woman in the area.
The deceased whose identity is yet to be confirmed was allegedly attacked, beheaded and her body dumped in the banana plantation.
When our reporter contacted the Rwizi region police spokesperson ASP Samson Kasasira, who had gone for COVID-19 vaccination, he said that he had not received any info about the incident.
ASP Kasasira said that police was to dig out for details and later release a detailed report on the murder.
