President YK Museveni Tibuhaburwa has appointed Sandor Walusimbi the Presidential Press Secretary replacing Linda Wamboka Nabusayi.
The appointment was announced on Sunday.
Walusimbi has been the State House Anti- corruption Unit head of communication.
This comes after almost 1 and a half year when Nabusaayi took up the position in Apil 2021. She replaced Innocent Don Wanyama who was sent to Vision Group as the company’s Chief Executive Officer
Reports indicate that Nabusaayi has been retired.
Walusimbi previously served as the head of corporate relations at Uganda Breweries Limited and also a Marketing Manager for East African Breweries Limited.
Having joined EABL in 1995 as a brand promoter, he was promoted to brand manager, innovations and commercialization manager, senior brand manager and marketing manager for spirits.
He has also previously served as the Airtel Uganda Public Relations Manager.
