After 16 years of presenting the mid morning show, AM-PM at Capital FM, Flavia Tumusiime is dropping the mic at the end of this month. The presenter broke the ‘sad news’ to fans today, morning on her official twitter.
“Good morning.
Tomorrow 31st August will be my final show @CapitalFMUganda for the mid morning show. Its been a life and career changing experience for me since 2006.
The time has come again for me to stretch my potential and see what else I can become” Flavia tweeted.
She didn’t give her reasons for leaving the station but rather mentioned that it’s actually her time to see what else she can pursue.
Before joining Capital, Flavia was a presenter on HOT100 FM(KIIS FM) and she has also had stints in acting and Television. She was a news anchor and host at NTV Uganda and presented for Big Brother Africa in 2012, she also featured in Nana Kagga’s television series ‘Beneath The Lies’ which aired on Urban TV from 2014 to 2016.
Following her tweet, some of her fans have expressed their dismay.
