KAMPALA
The Minister for state for Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries has said that Uganda will host the African Dairy Conference starting on 11th- 15th September 2023 at Hotel Africana in Kampala.
Rwamirama made these remarks during an engagement with the the media yesterday at the Uganda Media Centre in Kampala.
“The African Dairy confidence and exhibition is the largest African Dairy event organized by the Eastern and Southern African Dairy Association (ESADA) . It provides a platform for key dairy industry stakeholders to showcase
their products to consumers and other decision makers , create new markets and orient new consumers to their innovative products “Rwamirama explained
He added that Uganda will benefit from hosting this conference through getting trade opportunities, promoting the dairy industry through consumption camps, technology transfer which reduce cost of production and increase profit margins for all, networking, knowledge transfer,capacity building among the others.
The event also seeks to highlight the investment opportunities tourism and other trade opportunities in various sectors in the host country.
