KAMPALA
Security have arrested the National Unity Platform (NUP) President, Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine at Entebbe Airport and whisked him to an unknown destination.
He was arrested immediately after landing at Airport from Canada where he has been for weeks on official party duties.
Reliable sources in security told this publication that he is being taken to his home in Magere to stop the planned procession by the party.
Earlier on, security staged roadblocks along Entebbe road where all public vehicles were thoroughly checked at Kitubulu check point before proceeding towards the Airport. Some of the NUP supporters who were preparing a procession to welcome their leader were arrested.
