Nyakibale Lower Primary School in Rukungiri municipality, Rukungiri district southwest Uganda has bid farewell to one of its long-serving senior staff, Tr. Jane Neema Kakurugu. This was during a Thanksgiving Mass held at the school premises on Sunday, November 12.
The Mass main celebrant, Fr. Benjamin Tukamushaba, Parish Priest to the new Parish of Katojo Parish in Buyanja, Rukungiri district has hailed the management of Nyakibale lower primary school for honoring their retirees and bid them official farewell.

The retiring teacher, Neema Jane Kakurugu has been serving as the deputy headteacher from 2004 untill when she clocked 60 years on the 19th October.
In his sermon, Fr. Tukamushaba advised other teachers to learn to serve diligently and also tipped them on preparing for good early retirement.
He challenged teachers who cheat learners by dodging some of the lessons which he says is not good for the learners.
On her side, Jane Neema Kakurugu, thanked all the staff she has served with that enabled her work to be easier all the time.

Chairman PTA thanked Neema Jane for service above self, he said she did a great job in reviving the glory of the school which had started deteriorating and wished her the best of luck in her retirement.
Chairman school management, thanked Neema for being brave and standing on her words, he said the school will miss her counsel and service because she was a good leader and that’s why the school management decided to bid farewell for her which has never happened.
He said Neema set a standard during her time as the caretaker headteacher where the headteacher picked from and has been maintained and promised to maintain the same standard and even do better.
