Over the past half a decade, Clarke International University (CIU) has generously supported students from financial disadvantaged homes with academic scholarships to enable them acquire quality university education. With 35,00 graduated students from Uganda and over 15 international countries, and 25 percent of graduate nurses in Uganda, it is signaling a high completion rate of 93% and an excellent performance with many students graduating with first class degree, while others are bagging a second class upper, and  second class lower degrees across all academic disciplines.

In addition to the quality education attained, the University has a well developed capacity building and mentoring strategy that has strengthened students’ personal professional lives over the years.

CIU scholarships offer to Senior Six students.

In this Academic Year 2024/25, Clarke International University has announced scholarships for students applying to study any course in the School of Business and Applied Technology (SOBAT). The 50 percent (Half Bursary) offer targets Senior Six students joining CIU in the August Intake.

Among the courses offered under SOBAT include; Masters of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Applied Computer Technologies, Bachelor of Accounting and Finance, Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management among others.

Female students and students with disabilities stand an advantage of being granted these scholarships and are highly encouraged to apply.

According to the university, the scholarship waives off only tuition and functional fees for the duration of the study programme offered by the the beneficiaries.

Eligibility for the CIU scholarship is that applicants should be Ugandan nationals who have completed the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) and or those holding Diplomas and Senior Six equivalent academic documents from recognized awarding institutions.

Other criteria which applicants should meet to be considered for this scholarship include the following;

Interested and eligible applicants can pick application forms at Shs50,000 from the university Main Campus, Kawagga Close, off Kalungi Road, Muyenga Block 244 | Plot 8244 Bukasa Kyadondo, P.O.Box 7782 Kampala-Uganda or download a copy from the CIU website: https://ciu.ac.ug/
