Several Members of Parliament who had defected to the Katonga faction are starting to return to the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) main party at its Najjanankumbi headquarters.

Among them are Kilak South MP Gilbert Oulanya and Chua West – Kitgum MP Okin P.P. Ojara. They announced their return during the FDC’s 18th National Council meeting held on Thursday.

Speaking to journalists shortly after being welcomed back, Hon. Okin Ojara explained that it was wise to return to the party after being misled by the Katonga group.

“Today, I came to attend the FDC National Council meeting, as I belong to this party and was elected to Parliament on its ticket. I see no problem in returning to be with my fellow FDC members. I was always with the FDC team, and now I am back home to advocate for righteousness,” he stated.

The meeting, chaired by the party’s National Chairperson, saw the interim approval of the FDC Party’s National Electoral Commission, following the expiration of the previous commission’s term. Ok
