The Sheema University Students’ Association (SUSA) is set to host its much-anticipated Hand Over and Freshers’ Welcoming Party on 22nd August at SS Hotel in Kikoni, organizers have announced.
The event, themed to celebrate leadership transition and officially welcome new students, promises a night of celebration, connection, and inspiration. It will mark the formal handover of leadership from outgoing SUSA leaders to the incoming team, while also giving first-year students an opportunity to socialize and integrate into the university community.
According to the official communication, entry to the event is taxed at 25,000 Ugandan Shillings, with payments to be made via 0754 635094 (Rukundo Doreen).
“This is more than just a party,” said a member of the organizing committee. “It is a moment for reflection on our journey, a time to appreciate past leaders, and an opportunity to warmly usher in new faces into the Sheema university fraternity.”
The SUSA Hand Over and Freshers’ Party is expected to attract current students, alumni, and invited guests, making it one of the standout social gatherings in the university calendar.
