The Presidential Advisor on Agriculture, Peace Rugambwa has rallied local artistes and radio presenters from Western region to canvas votesfor NRM flagbearer, President Yoweri Museveni come 2026 in the 2026 general elections
Rugambwa is mobilising support for NRM candidate Museveni who is contesting against seven other presidential aspirants ahead of his campaign trail in Western region.

Other presidential aspirants are retired Maj. Gen Mugisha Mutu of Alliance for National Transformation (ANT), Frank Bulira of Revolution People’s Party (RPP), Robert Kasibante of National People’s Party (NPP), Joseph Mabirizi of Conservative Party (CP), Robert Kyagulanyi of National Unity Plartform (NUP), Nandala Mafabi of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) and Mubarak Munyagwa for Common Man’s Party (CMP)
The presidential advisor is campaigning under the slogan “Team Peace Rugambwa Presidential Museveni 2026-2031.”

She has made posters displayed in every venue she addresses a campaign rally with a slogan “Team Peace Rugambwa -President Museveni 2026-2031.”
Addressing artistes at Rwentobo Town Council in Ntungamo district she promised to give them shs 200m to set up Saccos.
She called upon musicians to mobilise the people of western Uganda to elect Museveni in 2026 general elections.
Rugambwa also met NRM flagbearers of Rukingiri district and appealed to them to campaign for the NRM candidate and not fighting each other but to work as a team.After meeting artistes Rugambwa also met radio presenters, social media influencers and content creators practitioners and called upon them to mobilise support for President Museveni.
