Rt. Rev. Alponse Watho-Kudi, the Bishop for Nebbi Anglican Diocese enjoins the list of high profile religious leaders to succumb to corona virus disease since the first disease case was announced on March 21, last year.
The Bishop was announced dead on the morning of Sunday January 10, at Arua regional referral hospital where he has been receiving treatments.
Reports indicate that he has been battling covid-19 for the last two weeks.
Further reports says his wife and some of the children are also admitted at Arua regional hospital undergoing treatments.
Bishop WathoKudi dies at the age of 62, and is attributed to growing faiths in the West Nile region.
He is the Executive Director, Christ the King FM, a mass medium he established to help in evangilization of the gospel in the West Nile.
Parrits UG learned that his body was expected at Goli where it will be laid to rest tomorrow on Monday January11.
