The police political commissar AIGP Asan Kasingye has expressed efforts to rescue Hope Atuhaire a medic Doctor in Namuwongo a Kampala suburb who went missing on Tuesday.
Hope Atuhaire a medic Doctor at one of the clinics in Namuwongo went missing on Tuesday in a suspected kidnap between her home in Bweyogerere and her workplace in Namuwongo.
A case of a missing person was reported and recorded at Kabalagala police station by her family and means to rescue her life have since failed. But, the police commissar AIGP KASINGYE said he is working tirelessly together with police at Kabalagala to ensure that Atuhaire is found and reunited with her family.
“I am in touch with Kabalagala Police station to work around the clock so that Hope Atuhaire reunites with her loved ones. You too can play a role in one way or the other…” Kasingye said in a Twitter post.
He urged the members of the public with knowledge on Atuhaire’s whereabouts to report the matter to police.

According to her friend Immaculate Innocent Achan, Atuhaire’s missing has caused panic among members of her family and friends.
Achan said they have since reported to police and run to social media with posts to help in searching for Atuhaire.
In April 2019, Violet Kakai, a nurse at International Hospital Kampala- IHK went missing and was later discovered dead. It is alleged that she was brutally cut into pieces by her husband a one Shimanya who accused of cheating on him. The husband was later traced arrested in Isingiro district, charged and sentenced to 17 years in jail.
