The Office of the National Chairman, led by Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, made a significant impact in the Acholi region on Thursday. The office donated hundreds of empowerment tools to Bazzukulu in Lamwo district, attracting thousands of beneficiaries to the Padibe boy primary school playground.
The donated tools included brick laying machines, hoes, oxen ploughs, sprayers, carpentry tools, and more. Dr. Okulu Anthony, the Member of Parliament for Padibe Constituency, thanked the office for empowering the youth and women. He also highlighted the need for better roads in Lamwo and commended the ONC boss for championing empowerment.
The Woman Member of Parliament for Lamwo district, Hon. Achora Nancy Odonga, expressed her gratitude to Hajjat Namyalo for supporting the people of Lamwo. She urged the beneficiaries to utilize the tools effectively and announced that the people of Lamwo are firmly behind President Museveni for the 2026 elections.
Acholi leaders requested that ONC consider building an NRM office in Lamwo district for better services. Hajjat Namyalo addressed concerns about disunity, emphasizing that ONC’s purpose is to empower the poor, not to engage in politics. She promised to investigate reports of corruption and committed to serving President Museveni and poor Ugandans.
The event showcased the commitment of the Office of the National Chairman to empowering communities and promoting economic development.
