At least four people have been confirmed dead and several other injured after a nasty accident at the Buddo junction along the Kampala Masaka road.
The accident happened on Friday during the early morning rains after a Toyota Kanta that was transporting sand had a head on head collision with a commutter Taxi leaving four people dead.
The deceased include the driver of a Taxi and three yet to identify passengers. The accident occurred at the Buddo junction along Kampala-Masaka road near Horizon Campus of St. Lawrence schools.
According to eye witnesses, the driver of a Kanta vehicle lost control of the vehicle due to the slippery roads.
Police in the area immediately arrived to to the scene of the accident and the bodies of the deceased and the casualities have been taken to Mulago hospital for a postmortem and first aid respectively.
Police I still investigating the cause of the accident.
