An unknown assailants has shot dead a businessman in Agago District.
The deceased has been identified as Morish Ocana, a businessman in Kalongo Town Council, Agago North constituency, Agago district.
Agago RDC James Nabinson Kidega said the occured on Tuesday (June 9) at around 7pm. Preliminary reports indicate that the deceased had just left his shop when the incident happened.
“The assailant armed with a gun approached him and demanded the bag reportedly containing money, which he declined to offer,” RDC Kidega said.
“He then shot at him before vanishing with the bag of money.”
RDC Kidega said the search is underway in the area to apprehend the suspect and other accomplices.
