A step Dad in Rubirizi district formerly Bunyaruguru county is on run after he allegedly killed his stepdaughter
Vicent Mwijukye, a resident of Rwemitangu village Rutooto sub county Rubirizi district allegedly killed Faith Nansuna by hitting her with an exe in the head.
Preliminary reports indicate that on August 22, 2022 at about 1945/c Mwijukye seduced the victim with a sweet potato and took her to a nearby bush about 1.5 kilometers and hit her on the head with an axe. He then dumped her (deceased) in the bush before disappearing.
The greater Bushenyi police spokesperson SP Martial Tumusiime said that the suspect has been a known concubine to the deceased but has been rejecting the child.
He added that police visited the crime scene and taken the deceased body to Rugazi Health Centre III for a post-mortem.
