Democratic Party (DP) has dismissed media briefing convened by the Buikwe South county lawmaker, Hon. Micheal Lulume Bayiga and other members of the defunct DP block.
In a notice by the DP Secretary General, and East African Legislative Assembly legislator, Hon. Gerald Ssiranda Blacks, the trio are masqueraders and have no locus to represent DP and or its organs.
“The persons pictured above, who are purporting to organize an event styled the Grand Clarion call under the aegis of a so called Union of the UYD Alumni are on a frolic of their own and have no locus to represent the DP and its organs,” read a notice in parts.
Bayiga and the group are holding the UYD Alumni event at Hotel Africana today, November 8. But, DP and UYD denied knowledge of the event.
