Dr. Annet Kezaabu, the chairperson of the pornography control committee at the directorate of Ethics and Integrity has cautioned schools managements against rising cases of homosexuality in schools
According to Kezaabu, the LGBT community is using schools to recruit, groom, initiate, teach, who are later turned into their agents
She says students are being trapped with incentives like scholarships, academic supports encouraging parents to be more vigilant.
Dr. Kezaabu calls for more awareness to children about freebies from unknown individuals.
The warnings follow recent remarks by Archbishop of the Church of Uganda Dr. Samuel Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu that there is a group of underground individuals on a mission to recruit school-going children into homosexuality.
His Grace Dr. Samuel Kazimba advised the government to set up a mechanism for learners to report individuals recruiting them into homosexuality.
