Latest reports reaching Parrots UG indicate that Dr Lawrence Muganga, the Victoria University Kampala Vice Chancellor, who was on Thursday brutally by joint security gunmen from his office at VU, has been released.
The joint security forces yesterday arrested Dr Muganga at his workplace at the Victoria University Kampala on allegatioms of espionage and illegal working and living in Uganda.
His arrest attracted much pressure from members of the public who demanded for his immediate release.
On Friday, he was reportedly released and further details into the matter will be punlished in our subsequent reports.
