“A decision has been taken by the national organs of the party for all our offices countrywide to reopen from from Monday 11June,2020 for normal party businesses,” reads the statement.
According to Amuriat, the decision was reached at after the alleged release of the Revised Road map for elections of the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) by the Electoral Commission.
In a statement, the fdc wondered whether the EC was declaring an end to COVID-19 by releasing a roadmap for the elections of SIGs without escartaining to when the COVID-19 lockdown is likely to end.

However, the Electoral Commission refuted claims by the FDC and other individuals that the commission released a revised electoral roadmap for elections of the leadership of the SIGs.
In a telephone interview with ourcreportor, Jothan Taremwa, the EC mouthpiece denied reports that the commission has released a revised roadmap.
“It is fake, I don’t know about it. EC has not released any revised roadmap,” Taremwa said.
