The Police in Sheema has a manhunt of Emmanuel Sabiiti Ndyanabo, a former languages lecturer at Makerere University, for allegedly killing his daughter, housemaid and injuring another daughter on suspicions that they are not his biological children.
Sabiiti, a resident of Kabutsyevillage Kigarama sub county in Sheema District, allegedly committed the acts on Sunday morning at about 4:00 am.
The Kabutsye village LC1 Chairperson Yusuf Kagwisagye has deceased as Kendo Kukunda, 8, and the maid as Lillian Ainembabazi,16, while the injured daughter has been identified as Clarissa Binti Sabiiti, 11.
According to the chairperson, Sabiiti has been at loggerheads with his wife who he suspected of infidelity, questioning the legitimacy of their five-month-old baby.
“There have been accusations and counter-accusations over who is the father of the baby among them,” Kagwisagye said.
He noted that the couple had separated by the time the incident happened.
Police says they have started on investigation and a search for Sabiiti who is on run.
