The latest blacksmith news at the Uganda Catholic Secretariat, Nsambya indicate that Msgr Alex Mukasa is dead.
This is according to a condolence message from the Apostolic Administrator of the Kampala Archdiocese Rt Rev. Paul Ssemogerere.
The Uganda Episcopal Conforence in a social media post also confirmed to the sad news and said that Msgr passed on at Nsambya hospital in Kampala.
Msgr Mukasa was once a secretary to the pastoral department of the Uganda Episcopla Conference (UEC) between 1986 -1989, when he was appointed to Secretary General of the conference in 1989, a position he held until 1996.
In July, he celebrated 59 years priesthood anniversary.
According to the diocesean Vice Chancellor Fr Henry Mubiru, the mounsegnior’s last appointment was the Senior Secretary in the Chancary and has been residing at St. Paul’s Priests Centre in Nabbingo Kampala.
Fr. Mubiru who did not divulge into the deceased death details said that burial arrangements will be communicated
