Another misfortune has befallen to Link Bus Services Limited after their bus was attacked by gunmen in Mityana few hours after one of their buses caught fire in long traffic queue.
According to reports, the yet to identify gunmen attacked a commercial Scania Link bus, put all the passengers aboard on gunpoint before robbing them of their belongings.

The incident occured on Friday morning at a place called Kigalama in Mityana district along the Kampala-Fort Portal Highway.
The gunmen forced passengers to walk out of the bus and then took off with their belongings
They (passengers) are camped at Mityana Central Police Station.
The Mityana District Police Commander, Martin Okoyo confirmed the incident but did not divulge into details of the incident.
Parrots Ug contacted the Wamala region police spokesperson ASP Racheal Kawala and she was yet to issue an official statement.
This is a third fatal incident on Link Bus within one month the first one being the most deadly accident that claimed 21 lives, and the second incident of fire outbursts on Link Bus at Wakaliga traffic lights in Nateete Kampala.
Police fire and rescue service said the fire was caused by a short circuit in one of the bus’ headlamps.
