The agreement was reached at in a mediation meeting with representatives from either sides held in the office of SC Francis Gimara, Advocate and Commissioner for oaths in Kampala today.

The families also have adopted to a win-win spirit to resolve the matter stating that it is in the interest of both families.
The children’s side (Nebbi family) was represented by Marshal Alenyo while Hon. Raphael Baku represented the husband’s side (Adjumani family).
Alenyo was also directed to communicate to the Nebbi family about the resolutions of the meeting today Friday 23rd June, 2023.

But, yesterday, the Chief registrar of the judiciary Sarah Langa Siu said in a statement that the remains of the deceased would be interred at a later date to be communicated.
