The Grade One Magistrate Court sitting in Kanungu on Thursday (February 2) sent on remand Nelson Twinamatsiko, a radio station manager at 91.5 Kanungu FM for assaulting a female employee
Court heard that on Wednesday Twinamatsiko an adult Ugandan of sound mind was arrested and detained for assaulting Anitah Tumuramye, a fellow employee at the station after she had gone to demand Shs40,000 commission from an advert she had scooped for the radio.
Twinamatsiko was arraigned to court on Thursday which found him guilty of the charges.
Court presided over by Grade One Magistrate Asanasiyo Mukobi then remanded Twinamatsiko to prison until February 8 for hearing of his case.
