Rising rapper King Y-Official expressed his deep disgust with Dj Shiru’s (Mr. Kiberu Bashir) actions during his recent appearances on Bukedde Television.

In an open letter dated November 23, 2013, the rising talent expressed worries about the Dj’s purported attempts to sabotage and hinder his abilities.

King Y Official, Kanyonyi Kange hit maker

King Y-Official acknowledged the support received from Bukedde TV management, expressing gratitude for the opportunities given to showcase his talent on the platform. However, he raised serious concerns about DJ Shiru’s conduct during two recent appearances on Bukedde TV1, stating that the DJ’s actions have not only affected him but also disappointed his fan base.

The first incident occurred on November 15, where DJ Shiru allegedly questioned the presence of King Y-Official’s music files, despite the artist having delivered them to the TV management. DJ Shiru claimed to exclusively use his special gadgets for playing songs. In a subsequent appearance on November 22, DJ Shiru reportedly continued his disruptive behavior, claiming technical issues with King Y-Official’s song and playing a different video in the background during the artist’s performance.

The Kanyonyi Kange hit maker said he is irritated with Dj Shiru’s actions on his budding career, urging him to reflect on the consequences of frustrating young talents. The letter calls for an apology to fans and warns of potential legal actions if DJ Shiru plays King Y-Official’s songs without proper authorization.

He (the musician) affirmed his commitment to his craft and his expectations for respectful and fair treatment within the music industry.
