NDA has today signed a memorandum of Understanding with Tooro Kingdom that was witnessed by the King Oyo at his Palace in Munyonyo.
With this MOU, NDA will provide 30M shillings annually for the next 5 years to support health initiatives within the kingdom.
This will include providing technical support and training for research and development of herbal medicines in the kingdom,work with the kingdom to control drug and substance abuse and drug hawking.
The King has also accepted to be the champion of safe drug use as part of supporting in NDA in promoting public health.
