NUP supporter Muhydin Kakooza evoked panic in the Makindye general court martial after jumping out of the dock to attack soldiers.
Muhydin Kakooza who is serving an 8 month sentence for contempt of court after causing trouble in same court earlier this year appeared alongside 31 fellow convicts for hearing of their case.
But, after the adjourning of the court he jumped out of the dock singing ‘Tuliyambala Engule’ one of Bobi wine’s songs and attacked security personnel in the courtroom.
The chaos came after a team of their lawyers led by Fred Musisi told the 9 member court chaired by Lt Gen Andrew Gutti that they were not ready to proceed because they were served with witness statements late.
Lawyer Fred Musisi requested the court to give them more time to enable them read through the statement to prepare for hearing.
These NUP supporters were arrested from different areas that is Jinja,Kireka,Nakulabye,Nateete and Kampala central.
