A lorry truck belonging to Kazero Company Uganda Limited has plunged into a stream at Nyabuhikye Trading Centre in Ibanda district.
The incident happened on Sunday evening when a lorry transporting Kazero drinks was heading to Ibanda town.
According to reports, the driver of the vehicle lost control and suddenly knocked the metallic guards at the bridge which made the vehicle to plunge into a stream.
One person has been confirmed dead while the causalitiies were evacuated and taken for medical care to a yet to identify clinic.
By press time, the vehicle was still stuck in water. Details of this report follow in our subsequent publications.
