The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has announced it will release Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) 2025 results on Friday.
“PLE 2025 results to be released soon,” the board confirmed. “The release has been set for Friday January 30,2026 at 11a.m., at State House Nakaseero.”
The announcement followed a closed door meeting with the minister of education and sports, also the First Lady, Janet Kataha Museveni on Wednesday.
A total of 817,885 candidates registered to sit for last year’s PLE exams which were held on Monday, November 3, and Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Of these, 389,529 (48%) were boys, while 428,356 (52%) were girls.
