FDC has said they are in talks with the family of their fallen activist, Sarah Epuru to accord her a decent burial.
Eperu, a former spokesperson of the FDC women league passed away on Sunday April 7, at LifeLink hospital Namugongo at 8:30pm.
Speaking to journalists at the party headquarters Najjanankumbi on Monday, John Kikonyogo, the party spokesperson eulogized the deceased who he described as a committed member who at no point betrayed the opposition struggle.
“We worked with Sarah Eperu from the Reformed Agenda till we formed FDC. She was a lady who was committed and there was no single day when she was not FDC and she has passed on as FDC,”Kikonyogo eulogized.
He confirmed the party position to give a decent send off to Eperu.
“As a party, we are contacting the family so as we organize a good send off for our sister,” said Kikonyogo.
By press time, neither the family nor the party had communicated official funeral arrangements.
