Through its presidential initiative on Skilling, the Girl and Boy-child project, the State House has today successfully held an outreach to ghetto communities around Kampala with an aim of returning back to the communities, which do forward students to this project.

Items donated include Clothes , Charcoal Stoves, Chairs, Saving boxes, metallic windows and doors manufactured by students who are benefiting in this project.

Some of the items including chairs that were donated to Ghetto Communities in Kawempe by the State House.

Taking place in the ghetto communities of Kawempe Division, areas that have benefited in today’s outreach include Bwaise, Kimombasa, Kajabula, some parts of kisenyi and Kampala central.

The Project Head, Dr Faith Mirembe Katana in her remarks has advised Ugandans not to politicize this project and also urged them to embrace the skilling program because it is a sure deal for someone to finish and become an employee or be employed with small monies.
