The Director of Public Prosecutions has committed three men to the High court for trial on charges of Murder and aggravated robbery of a 26 year old university student who had come to rescue a fellow student from not being robbed.
The suspects include led by Yebo Trevor were committed by LDC Court grade one magistrate Augustine Alule after prosecution informed court that investigations are complete.
Its alleged that on January 18th 2021 at Banda zone in Wandegeya, the accused robbed a national ID, University I’d and other documents from Bill Clinton Muhereza using electric wires on their victims.
Prosecution adds that on the same date the accused persons beaten to death a one Patrick Akampulira when he responded to an alarm by Muhereza after being attacked by the three accused persons and others still at large.
