With access to the internet in Uganda, a bigger number of businesses, communications have gone online.

Internet social platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, IMO, Instagram, LinkedIn, Skype to mention but a few are well known as market leading networks for product targeted customers.

Information too, is fastest when disseminated using any of the social media platforms.

In Uganda, there’s a bigger percentage of users on Facebook constituting 5% of the Population.

According to another research conducted by the Napoleon Cat (January2017),  Uganda has 2379000 Facebook users.

Most of these are men between 18-24 who are the largest group (60.7%) and women 39.3%. The age brackets 25-35 constituted 36.6% population.

The age brackets 18-24 and 25-34, are popularly known for having the nose for news and also consists of the biggest percent on Uganda’s online shopping.

Digital information and marketing find their most targeted consumers on internet and its various social media platforms.

As one of the ways of embracing the dynamism in the information flow and Digital Marketing today, VINAStech in proud conjunction with The Parrots have entered a partnership to ensure the promotion of the products and services offered by the two – sister online websites reach a wide coverage of the targeted consumers.

Nashaba Victor, Team Leader, VINAStech expressed concerns to promote viewership of the content produced by The Parrots promising to grow a wider readership coverage for the site.

VINAStech is a digital marketing services provider dealing in Product branding, web designing & development, social media promotions, Accounting, and audit among others. They are located in Ntinda Kampala and have regional offices in Mbarara Western Uganda.

Similarly, The Parrots is an online Digital News platform dealing in Multimedia platforms. The website is known of its participation in gender mainstreaming through Arts and Literature (Poetry) content on the site. The site has been in the market since November 2017.

Leonard Kamugisha Akida, CEO of The Parrots commended VINAStech for choosing The Parrots of all the online News websites already in the market.

He further said the partnership doesn’t only aim to promote content and products by the two partners but also develops corporate relationships.

“This shall develop winning partnerships and strengthen corporate relationships,” he expressed.

Online Products, services ,and/or content promotion and branding means increasing the visibility of the products and services to targeted consumers with limited or no awareness of the products/ services. Both VINAStech and The Parrots believe in increasing each other’s visibility to the most unreachable targeted internet users.
