Police have arrested 48 terror suspects in relation to the two bomb explosions that left two people dead and scores injured.
The two separate explosions happened at Digida pork joint in Komamboga Kawempe Division Kampala and another on a swift safari bus in Katende Lugala Mpigi along the Masaka-Mbarara Highway.
According to the police spokesperson CP Fred Enanga, the arrests targeted small individual crime cells operating within the country.
Enanga was addressing journalists at the police headquarters in Naguru on Monday, where he disclosed that more vigilance is needed from the public much as there has not been any case of terror reported in the last seven days.
