Security operatives in Jinja have shot a woman in the stomach today Wednesday May 13th,2020 during curfew hours while on her way to work.
Namulondo Evaline, a food vendor at Alakalaka garage in Jinja is nursing bullet wounds at Jinja regional referral hospital says at the dawn rushing hours of today, she was travelling with another passenger on a Boda Boda moving to work when all of a sudden they met security operatives in army and police uniforms who ordered them to stop.
However, on fear of arrest, the Boda cyclist refused to comply and an unidentified trigger happy officer opened fire promptly.

Kiira region police spokesperson, Abbey Moiti could neither deny nor admit that the alleged security operatives belonged to police and the army but rather said that investigations into the matter are going on.
Details about the cyclist, another passenger and the suspected shooter had not been established by press time.
