“As leaders in the area after along wait of government food relief, our people in the area have lost hope and they triggered us the leaders to provide food which we did but we have reached at the last point where we are left with no option but three kilograms of rice without sauce.”Kimbowa said.
Most of the residents who spearheaded the demonstration claimed to be taxi conductors and drivers who have spent almost three months without earning anything.
” We were working in our taxis but eversince the Lockdown started we have been home washing hands waiting for government food relief, what did we do in Masanafu other villages have got food.” Angry & hungry Taxi operators said.
