“70.1% of these candidates are sponsored by government the Universal Primary Education program, a sign of a vote of confidence in the UPE program. We therefore want to thank the teachers of both the government aided and the private schools for ably preparing and registering these candidates” Kalule said
She further added that briefing of candidates will be conducted by the head teachers today 7th of November 2022 and candidates will sit their first paper tomorrow 8th of November 2022.
“Headteachers of schools without sitting centers can brief their candidates from their school, we ensure candidates are introduced to the centers they are going to sit from” She emphasized
UNEB further warned against examination malpractice that anyone found or convicted will be dealt with in accordance to UNEB ACT 2022.
Kalule assured the parents and candidates that their was no leakage of any Paper as reported on social media.
“We want to assure both candidates and parents that there had been no leakage of any PLE paper as wrongly reported on social media of our examination or any other form of examination malpractice, as this compromises the integrity and credibility” Kalule added
