Catholic church catechist Ignitius Atuhwere has asked christians to accept Christ to be born in their hearts and walk in his light.
“At the heart of the Christmas celebration is the birth of a baby – a certain baby whose life, ministry, and message of light will bring new life to the world and offer new paradigms for us to consider. Unfortunately, some of us are still living in the darkness of the world,” he said
He asked christians to accept Christ the Light of the World in their families and lives if they are to live a Christian life.
Atuhwere was giving a sermon during a Christmas day service celebration at Rwakabaaga Hiika, found in Nyakishojwa Parish Mbarara Archdiocese in Mitooma District.
He also urged ordinary Catholics to be hopeful in everything they do.
“Many people think that Christmas celebration is about wearing nice cloths and feast on delicious food. Christmas restores hopes to christians and therefore you should accept Christ to be born in your heart and receive his hopes in everything you’re doing,” catechist Atuhwere urged.
Thanks for always being where most of us can’t
