Security operatives in Butaleja District on Friday raided a suspected Allied Democratic Forces -ADF terror cell and arrested the leader of the Cell and five of his accomplices.
The budding cell was operating in Nabala village, Bubinge parish, Nawanjjofu sub-county Butaleja District.
James Mugwe, the Bukedi South police spokesman confirmed the arrest of six suspects one woman and five men led by Musinguzi Masur and will be charged with terrorism and aggravated human trafficking
According to Mugwe, the security team from Uganda Police and CID also rescued 21 victims including a three-weeks-old baby from the raided cell. They include 17 females and four males, however, he didn’t disclose their identities.
