Manchester United needed a 2-0 Victory over Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday evening to win their first trophy in Six years. The Red Devils capitalised on errors in the Newcastle defense to edge Eddie Howe’s men.
Newcastle United Started the game strongly and kept Manchester United at the back peddle from the beginning to the end but were not sharp enough to put the ball Past David Defeat in the Red’s goal.
Brazil Midfielder Casemiro headed in off a Luke Shaw free kick to give MANU the lead before Rashford’s deflected left shot doubled their advantage midway before halftime. The Magpies controlled the second half, keeping the ball in United’s half but could not break the defense line.
Sunday’s victory is seen as a big statement for coach Eric Ten Hag as he continues to impressively transform a team that had last won a trophy in 2017. Ten Hag only took over the old Trafford job has had a lot change in the shortest time that he now has Manchester United back among the big boys.

From issuing tough rules,axing big heads like Cristiano Ronaldo to changing the style of play,Ten Hag now has Manchester United back to winning ways and their fans can roam again. The team is looking more confident than they have looked in the last six years.
