BUSHENYI
Bunura village in Bwooma, Ibaare subcounty, Bushenyi district, was abuzz with thousands of revelers as Isharaza and his wife celebrated their Golden Jubilee marriage anniversary. At the same function Hon. Allen Isharaza the daughter to Isharaza and former contestant for Igara East constituency thanked God for her successful breast cancer operation.
The joyous event began with a Holy mass led by Rev. Fr. Katusime Hillary, Kitabi Parish Priest, accompanied by other co-celebrants, including Rev. Fr. Adolf Ludigo and Msgnr John K Barugahare.
In his homily, Fr. Hillary praised the couple’s patience and commitment to their marriage, He reminded Christians to always find joy as emphasized by St. Paul.
Allen Isharaza expressed gratitude to God for guiding her through the challenging times and thanked her friends, family, and well-wishers for their unwavering support. She congratulated her parents on their Golden Jubilee celebration, acknowledging their dedication to their marriage and their advocacy for girl child education.
Mr. Isaraza Mathew, a renowned educator, and his wife Mrs. Mubangizi Joan Isharaza tied the knot on April 22, 1972, at Kitabi Parish. Their union has blessed them with ten children all of whom are still living.
The couple thanked their family, friends, relatives, and children for organizing the celebration and praised God for his guidance and protection throughout their journey. They vowed to keep their love strong until death do them part.
The occasion was graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Silver Mugisha the managing Director of NWSC and Chairperson of UBTEB and Kitabi Parish Council, Rev. Sr. Gladys Kachope, Headmistress at Immaculate Heart Girls’ School Nyakibale, and Rwakifari Peter Kibondo, former RDC and Headteacher of St. Cecilia Girls’ School Kitabi.
