Gervase Ndyanabo, a renowned accountant and internal auditor, has been reinstated as the President of the Uganda National Catholic Council of Lay Apostolate (UNCCLA). Ndyanabo’s reinstatement solidifies his position as the topmost Catholic laity leader in Uganda.
Born on November 8, 1964, in Sheema District, Western Uganda, Ndyanabo hails from a devout Catholic family. He is married to Rose Ndyanabo, and they have three children. Ndyanabo’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from Makerere University and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, UK.
Professionally, Ndyanabo has had a distinguished career, serving as Chief Internal Auditor, Chief Finance Officer, and Deputy Managing Director at New Vision Printing and Publishing Co. Ltd. He has also held various board positions, including Chairman of the Board of Trustees of IIA Uganda, member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda, and President of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Uganda.
Ndyanabo’s leadership roles extend to his involvement with Lions Clubs International, where he serves as the Global Leadership Team (GLT) Coordinator for Uganda. His expertise and dedication have earned him recognition within the Catholic community and beyond.
With his reinstatement as President of UNCCLA, Ndyanabo is poised to continue serving the Catholic laity with his exceptional leadership skills and commitment to his faith.
