BUSHENYI
Bishop Johnson Twinomujuni confirmed 647 Christians during a pastoral visit to All Saints Greater Bushenyi Archdeaconry on Sunday.
In his sermon , the Bishop commended traders in Bushenyi town for closing their businesses on Sundays, allowing people to dedicate the day to their faith and familie. He emphasized the importance of living a sin-free life and following Christ’s teachings.

Maama Joy Twinomujuni, the Bishop’s wife, also emphasized on love, trust, and humility as key characteristics for true Christians. She however expressed displeasure to some people calling themselves christians but have parted ways with Christ and the church.
Additionally, Archdeacon Ven. Rev. Didas Natweta welcomed the Bishop and reported on the Archdeaconry’s progress, including gospel preaching, improved church facilities, and ongoing construction projects.

During the confirmation service, over 50 Christians rededicated their lives to Christ during the service. The visit aimed to strengthen the faith of the Archdeaconry’s members and promote unity among Christians.
