The French Ambassador to Uganda, H.E. Xavier Sticker, has expressed the need for Uganda to strengthen its collaboration in the creative and cultural industry to boost economic growth and sustainability of the sector.
Xavier highlights that combining resources and expertise can help create a thriving ecosystem that benefits both Ugandan and European partners to develop the skills of young cultural entrepreneurs and promote sustainable business practices.
He further emphasized that the partnership underscores the growing importance of cross-border cooperation in the cultural sector, aiming to bring global attention to Uganda’s rich creative potential.
This during the launch of the spice project intended to structure , professionalize and increase Competitiveness of the creative industry in Uganda at the Media Challenge Initiative Offices at Kabalagala
