In a colorful celebration of culture and unity, Coca-Cola has launched its latest campaign dubbed “Share a Coke”, aimed at promoting togetherness, celebration, and personal connection through the iconic beverage.

The campaign was officially unveiled by Viviennie Olenyo, Marketing Frontline Manager for Uganda at Coca-Cola, during the 2025 Cultural Gala at Makerere University Business School (MUBS), an event that drew students from diverse cultural backgrounds to celebrate their heritage.

Speaking at the launch, Olenyo noted that this year’s campaign puts a special emphasis on sharing with loved ones. “What’s exciting this year is that consumers can now find the names of their loved ones on Coca-Cola bottles or cans, making the sharing experience even more personal and special,” she said.

She added that the campaign is part of Coca-Cola’s broader commitment to bringing people together and creating memorable moments through shared experiences.

The MUBS cultural gala, which provided the backdrop for the campaign launch, is an annual event that showcases Uganda’s rich cultural diversity through traditional performances, fashion, and food. Coca-Cola’s presence at the event underlined the brand’s continued support for youth engagement and cultural appreciation.

The “Share a Coke” campaign invites Ugandans to celebrate the people who matter most in their lives by literally putting their names on a Coke
making the act of sharing a soft drink a meaningful and heartfelt gesture.

As the campaign rolls out across the country, Coca-Cola hopes to inspire millions to connect, celebrate, and share happiness one personalized bottle at a time.
