“No one is too poor that they cannot give and no one is so rich that they cannot receive,” Pope John Paul II.

Eye witnesses told this reporter that Tumusiime was last seen on Friday May 8 in Nfasha Trading Center as she walked to her home.

However, it was by their surprise finding her lying dead without any known sicknesses.

The Nyarurambi LC 1 Chairman Byarugaba Milton immediately reported the matter to a nearby police station who responded on time.

Elly Maate, the Kigezi region police spokesperson said police visited scene of crime and established that there was a likelihood of rape after which a sharp object was inserted in the deceased vagina which was widely shattered leading to over bleeding.

He pledged to conduct thorough investigations to ensure that the perpetrator(s) are arrested and charged in accordance to the laws.

The case of murder has been filed at Rubanda Central Police Station under reference no: CRB 200/2021.
