The Deputy Speaker Anita Among has been reportedly locked out of the State House this morning.

The fast-rising famous speaker had reportedly led her camp to the State House to meet the President seeking for his endorsement of the speakership position.

On Monday at Cock’s crow (around 6:00am), Among had already arrived at the State House only to her dismay for security to ask her to return back.

Reports allege that the denial is due to Among’s recent mishandling of issues in parliament and her alleged move to have her husband Eng. Moses Magogo take over elected as the Deputy Speaker of Parliament something that annoyed Museveni.

The illegal mishandling of Hon. Zaake Francis’s issue by Rt. Hon. Among to an extent of impeaching of the former from his position as the parliamentary Commission without the a quorum also raised the president’s emotions higher.

Insiders at the State House have revealed that the President has since directed the state minister for defence Jacob Oboth Oboth to resign from his duties and collect the party nomination forms for the position.

Having been denied access, the ADs Among swallowed the humiliations and later led her entourage away from Statehouse.

Meanwhile, our Reporters at the NRM Secretariat have established that Among through her political personal assistant has submitted her expression of interests in the speakership position citing out poor health conditions.
